The car has been sitting for several years after the previous owner had the car roll
over him while removing the tranny, killing him. I bought it as a birthday present to
myself and drove it briefly last summer to my first amcar meeting. After returning home
i started taking her apart to decide what needs repair and what needs downright replacement.
There is some small rust patches but nothing i can't fix myself as i'm a welder. I plan on
removing everything and replace every bushing throughout the suspension, overhaul the
driveline and engine, replace some exterior parts and replace most of the interior.
A lot of work but i bought this car to have a hobby, reviving her is what makes it worthwhile.

I have all the original drivetrain from the two barrel carb to the open 2.56 rearend.
Car now has a balanced and blue printed 355 with edelbrock performer rpm heads, intake,
cam and carb. Puts out about 420 hp at the flywheel. Tranny is a 700r4 with 2500 stall,
rearend is a 10 bolt with welded axle tubes, 4.10 gears, eaton posi, aluminum drums and
moser axles.

polished Air gap intake manifold, Holley 650 carb,q MSD HEI ignition system , Headers and
a bunch of chrome. The headlight motors are new and they really work!! The car has a new
heater and stereo. The interior is in excellent condition with new carpet and a refurbished
console. The car is driven daily during the summer months here in New York. The car is a real
head turner with Hugger Orange paint. The 14 year old paint job is one of the highlights of
the car. The finish and shine are great!!
